LAVA Advisory Partners is proud to announce a new charity partnership with Anna Freud, a globally recognized mental health charity supporting children and young people.
This collaboration aligns with LAVA’s commitment to social impact, reinforcing its mission to use business as a force for good.
Founded in 2020, LAVA Advisory Partners launched the LAVA Positive Change initiative, dedicated to promoting youth mental health and wellbeing. This partnership with Anna Freud further strengthens its pledge to support young people during critical moments in their lives.
The initiative, which commits 2.5% of annual turnover to organisations furthering this mission, is now in its fifth year. LAVA works with a number of charities, large and small, on projects from event sponsorships to marathons, and is proud to add Anna Freud to the list.
LAVA’s donations will support the charity’s work which includes specialist clinical services, schools support, and professional training, ensuring children and young people receive the right mental health and wellbeing support at the right time.
Simon Woodcock, Partner at LAVA, said: “When we started LAVA it was important to us to use our fortunate position to lend support to charities like Anna Freud, and we feel incredibly privileged to be working with such a brilliant organisation with a rich history of ensuring children and young people get evidence-based mental health and wellbeing support when and where they need it most.”
Professor Eamon McCrory, CEO of Anna Freud, added: “We’re really delighted to have the LAVA team on board – their support will help Anna Freud create innovative mental health care, research, training, and resources, led by the latest science and guided by young people. One in five children and young people have a probable mental health disorder and we can only close this gap with support from our generous partners, including LAVA. 1”
