The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation invites global attendees to discover 76 leading Korean food brands at SIAL Paris 2024, the premier food innovation exhibition, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
Taking place from 19th to 23rd October 2024 at Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte, the Korean Pavilion, hosted by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), will present a diverse range of innovative and eco-conscious food products. This year, 76 promising Korean companies will display their agricultural and food products aimed at international buyers interested in health-focused solutions.
The Pavilion will be spread across Hall 4 (Stand 4 L120) and Hall 7 (Stand 7 K259), showcasing a variety of traditional and modern Korean foods. Products on offer include fermented sauces, Kimchi, noodles, ready meals, drinks, Ginseng, and vegan foods—all responding to the global demand for eco-friendly, plant-based products.
Korean Food’s Popularity Rising in Europe
Korean food is gaining traction in Europe, known for its blend of health benefits and unique flavours. Retailers like Carrefour and Monoprix have begun stocking Korean items, and the Pavilion at SIAL Paris presents a fantastic opportunity to discover this growing trend. Visitors will have the chance to engage directly with producers, sample the products, and forge important business relationships.
The increasing popularity of Korean food aligns with Europe’s growing interest in plant-based and vegan diets. Korean cuisine’s versatility has been widely embraced by chefs, going beyond Kimchi and bringing more diversity to European menus.
