Storio Group Unveils Strategic Rebrand and Leadership Overhaul to Accelerate Growth

The company formerly known as albelli-Photobox Group, encompassing popular brands such as Photobox UK and Bonusprint, has been rebranded to Storio group. This significant rebranding marks a pivotal transition in the European personalised photo product market, bolstered by a robust annual revenue of over EUR 340M and a loyal customer following of 11 million. Alongside this rebranding, a critical leadership transition has taken place, with Alessandro Coppo assuming the role of CEO, succeeding Tristan Money, as of 8th February 2024. This leadership change is a key element of the organization’s strategic plan following a merger, aimed at consolidating integration, fostering innovation, and stimulating growth.

The announcement of this momentous rebranding and leadership transition was celebrated during a vibrant internal launch event. Broadcast live from Amsterdam, London, and Barcelona, the event brought together the company’s extensive European network in a festive digital congregation, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Storio group, with celebrations echoed across all company sites.

After a successful nine-year leadership term, which included orchestrating the merger with Photobox in January 2022, Tristan Money handed over the leadership mantle to Alessandro Coppo.

Alessandro Coppo joins the Storio group with an impressive track record of over 25 years in the industry, highlighted by his tenure at Boston Consulting Group and a transformative 17-year period at eBay. His strategic leadership at eBay, which saw the Classifieds Group’s revenues increase from $300M to over $1B, demonstrates his capacity for leveraging technology to forge connections and cultivate secure, engaging commerce environments. His extensive experience is well-aligned with Storio group’s vision and strategic direction.

As the new CEO, Alessandro is poised to build on the strong foundation laid by Tristan and the leadership team, with the goal of establishing Storio group as a prominent and beloved brand, renowned for connecting people with their most cherished moments.

The shift to Storio group signifies the organization’s evolution and commitment to creating lasting impressions. This rebranding reflects the company’s dedication to innovation and growth within the industry.
