The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine commemorated Thanksgiving 2023 by honouring the valiant defenders of Ukraine and the American public for their steadfast support during Russia’s comprehensive war. This tribute was conveyed at the AmCham Thanksgiving Dinner, held in central Kyiv.
The event was attended by 240 senior executives from US and multinational corporations, members of AmCham Ukraine, partners, friends, and key players. The AmCham Thanksgiving during War 2023 highlighted the resilience and commitment to Ukraine’s recovery, underscoring the gratitude of the business community operating on the ground to those supporting Ukraine’s journey towards triumph. The gathering reinforced the message that Ukraine remains open for business.
Andy Hunder, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, expressed his appreciation, saying, “At this time of Thanksgiving, we express our gratitude to the lionhearted defenders of Ukraine who fight for freedom and preserve the Ukrainian nation. The US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget A. Brink, accepted the recognition on behalf of the American populace. She acknowledged the unyielding support of the US people, government, and business leaders to Ukraine and the lasting partnership between the two nations. “AmCham companies remain invested in Ukraine and play a vital role in economic recovery. The Ukrainian government and the private sector, working together, can help Ukraine reform, create a vibrant economy, and realise the goal of a Euro-Atlantic future. Together we can make sure that Ukrainians have the freedom to decide their own future”, stated Bridget A. Brink, US Ambassador to Ukraine.
