London’s most ‘Instagrammable’ nightlife hotspots

In recent years, social media has seen a massive boom in users. More people than ever before are taking to Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram to share what they’re doing with the world. In 2020, the UK alone had 27.25 million users on Instagram.

Instagram has certainly had a huge impact on the food and drink industry. We are all guilty of posting a cheeky snap of our food on our Instagram Stories or posing for a photo with our fancy cocktails. It’s no wonder that people want to find bars that offer that photogenic factor.

This is without the doubt the case in London. London has such a vibrant mix of bars, from classy champagne bars to quirky themed cocktail establishments. There is no limit to what London has to offer. Here, we will take a look at some of the most ‘Instagrammable’ nightlife hotspots you can find in London.

Dorsett Hotel, City

You will find Dorsett City in the gateway to East London, nestled amongst the galleries, boutiques and markets of the vibrant Shoreditch. The Dorsett Hotel, City is within walking distance of many tourist attractions, and in itself boasts two restaurants, VQ and Shikumen, and the fabulous Jin Bo Law Skybar.

The Jin Bo Law Skybar is an incredible way to experience the breathtaking view that is London’s skyline at night. This bar is located on the 14th floor, where you can sip on some expertly-crafted cocktails whilst taking in the views of the city.

Sky Garden, City

If you like to be high up in the sky whilst having your drinks, then another place for you is the Sky Garden. The Sky Garden is, for want of a better description, a garden in the sky! This garden has three bars for you to choose from: the Sky Pod, City Garden and Fenchurch Terrace. These bars have incredible views over the city, and are beautifully modern inside – and perfect for all your Instagram needs.

Prosecco House, Tower Bridge

Prosecco House is a specialist wine bar at One Tower Bridge and aims to bring the luxury of Italy to the heart of London. The owner works directly with family-owned vineyards to bring exclusive, hand-picked Prosecco to the UK. The interior is superbly classy and a little bit retro, with glasses dangling delicately over the marble bar.

The Cauldron, Stoke Newington

Now, if you want a place to photograph your drinks, this might just be the place for you. The Cauldron is potion-making fantasy, based on many of your favourite books. It takes inspiration from Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Star Wars and, of course, Harry Potter (although the bar is not endorsed by, affiliated with or associated with these brands). The Cauldon’s ‘molecular mixology’ is quite the thing to behold.

sketch, Mayfair

No, that’s not a typo – it’s purposefully lowercase. Whatever you call the bar, though, it’s arguably the London one most credited for being Instagrammable, so it obviously deserved a mention here. Everything here is photogenic, including the toilets! Though pretty pricy, this bar is half art installation and part destination.
